An exciting opportunity exists within a global manufacturing organisation based in Cheshire.

IS Procurement develops category strategies, owns supplier relations and leads sourcing projects for all spend on IS categories across the organisation.

Reporting into the IS Projects Procurement Lead, this role will touch on a wide range of procurement projects across software, infrastructure and services. You will provide commercial support whilst establishing close business relationships with the project team, stakeholders and the individual IS Category leaders to ensure project sourcing is aligned with the overall category strategy.

·         Preferably an understanding of IS and the IS categories of spend

·         Negotiation skills

·         Energetic and self motivated

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to leverage a range of influencing techniques

·         Proved ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively

·         Demonstrated success working in a team environment
