Tony has had 30 years experience in Purchasing and Supply.

After extensive study, he has chosen to train 40 managers in the Crosby Quality System and later to train teachers of the system to spread the philosophy throughout Leyland DAF.

In 1993, he became freelance and most of his work is for one of the major management consultancies as their specialist associate. He initiated a Purchasing Department for ELF Oil UK, wrote procedures, job descriptions and mentored managers prior to new staff being employed. He spent two years with Marshall Aerospace, initiated a Purchasing Department and mentored existing staff including the new Purchasing Development Manager. The project included outsourcing services, supply base reductions, partnership sourcing and new stocking/ordering arrangements.

His other assignments include outsourcing for the audio industry, assisting a Taiwanese automotive company on European negotiations and touring European suppliers and negotiating for a tube manipulator.
