This course is designed to empower the participant with the skills to understand and apply contracting principles and techniques in an operational role
Practitioner Level (CCMP) is ideal for experienced (and semi experienced) contract or commercial managers who would like to demonstrate significant achievements in the field, by gaining knowledge and methodologies. At practitioner level, it is expected that candidates have some varied experience.
The course is also suitable technical people, focal points, commercial managers, project managers, team leaders and finance managers who have a responsibility for managing contracts, but are not contract specialists.

We are planning to offer the CCMP course on the basis of five afternoon and evening sessions or 10 evening sessions
commencing in September 2017 at a central London venue.
Class times will be 14.30 – 20.30 for the afternoon and evening course
and 17.30 – 20.30 for the evening course

Course Title: Fundamentals of Contract and Commercial Management
IACCM has developed the Fundamentals of Contract and Commercial Management Program, specifically designed for the non-contracts business professional. The program focuses on delivering contemporary best practices information which will equip the student to participate effectively in the contract process and does so in a manner which the student will find interesting and immediately useful in their professional life.
Course Title: Effective Contract Preparation
To provide the underpinning knowledge regarding the formation of contracts as well as the key ingredients of any commercial arrangement including scopes of work, drafting contract clauses, specifications and contractual terms and obligations.
Course Title: Introduction to Contract Management
To enable those who are responsible (or soon to become responsible) for the effective day to day management of contracts, but who are not contract specialist. Participants gain an introductory overview of contract management cycle and key processes, from business case to close out
Course Title: Update Course for Contract Managers
The overall purpose of this course is to ensure that contract managers are fully up-to-date with any changes in legislation and to enable a wide range of no contractual specialist staff to be updated in terms of current trends, best practices, developments and changes in the management of contracts.
Course Title: Introduction to Agile Contract and Commercial Management
In today’s fast changing world, driven by technology and ever increasing demands from customers, organisations need to develop a more Agile and Collaborative approach to managing contracts
This course is designed to enable contract and commercial managers to understand and communicate the basic concept of agile and collaborative management of contract processes and approach
If you wish to move to a higher certification level, you may apply no sooner than 1 year after the date of your current certification award. On application, you will be requested to update your skills and experience assessment to verify eligibility for the next level of certification. When verified you will be asked to pay IACCM the fee applicable to your new learning program
IACCM Advanced Practitioner
Advanced Practitioner Level “Works with autonomy on a variety of contracts and commercial initiatives with experience in advanced operational techniques”
The IACCM has recently reviewed the process of gaining Practitioner and Expert status. Participants and required to undertake the IACCM Skills Assessment to evaluate their previous and current experience. The next step is to undertake the Advanced Award course. This is an “online” course only resourced by IACCM. The course contains 3 main parts Personal, Business Acumen and Technical, There are 30 units of study. The approximate online study time is 30 hours. Normally participants would be advised to target 1 unit per week, thus the average time is approx. 6 months, but this is flexible and is driven by the learning speed of individual participants. Our offer is the contract with IACCM to deliver the online course and in additional to provide a series of supporting workshop to assist participants, provide tutoring, review materials and assist with assessments. Based upon our experience we would recommend six support days as our part of the blended learning approach.
