Interactive role plays a beneficial part in learning negotiating skills.

When training our students and teaching them the fundamentals of negotiating we have found that role play brings the whole class together as a team.  Instead of them studiously taking notes we find that presenting these challenges brings a whole new experience.  They find out what it is like to be on both sides of the table and it gives them valuable experience.  We do find that after a few minutes the “actors” are thoroughly involved and enjoy lively debates with each other.
