This course is aimed at those who manage suppliers from the perspective of developing strategic relationships and part of the tactical delivery team regarding SRM within their organisation. They will have substantial interaction and responsibility for a select group of strategic and bottleneck suppliers. They will have knowledge of the commercial environment of their organisation, the organisation’s purchasing strategy and how it manages suppliers and contractors. Typically, they will support the development of contracts to ensure that KPI’s and SLA’S targets can be met and will support the selection methodology for suppliers

Understand the critical role of account management in developing and maintaining the relationship
Leverage the relationship to facilitate innovation, flexibility and responsiveness from the supplier
To benefit from the programme, it would be desirable to have some relevant commercial experience or relevant professional or technical qualification.
Our mini MBA is accredited by The British CPD Standards Office under licence number 21745 and the course is awarded 35 CPD points.
Participants are required to submit for assessment a series of 6 especially designed case studies and assignments. These will be reviewed and discussed during class time and participant are required to then write up and submit their assessments within 10 working days from the close out of course. These are then assessed by DPSS and then submitted to the British CPD Standards Office for moderation. Participants that successfully complete all assignments and pass the two-hour open book case study exam will be recommended to the British CPD Standards Office for the award of the “Mini” MBA in SRM
We will adopt a proactive, participative, and participant centred approach with emphasis on the practical application of the knowledge and skills acquired.
As with all of our courses we will utilize am eclectic range of teaching and learning strategies including presentations, discussions, Q&A, DVD, tasks, team work, role plays and simulations. We appreciate the need to ensure that the learning is embedded into the contractual and commercial fabric of the participant’s organisation and we will use case studies and other tasks to achieve this.
