DPSS are pleased to announce they are offering two brand new Contracting courses. They are both accredited by their strategic partner IACCM.  They are just the first of an innovative, comprehensive suite of courses that have been specifically designed to meet the needs of contracting and commercial managers at all levels. The first set of courses will be based in London, and will be run in September this year. 

The Fundamentals of Contract and Commercial Management is a two day course that is designed for professionals who do not have a direct role in the contracting process, but would like to know the basic principles and the latest best practice. Participants will leave this highly interactive course armed with e a general understanding of the contracting life cycle.

The Contract and Commercial Management Associate (CCMA) course, on the other hand is an entry level course for those who are involved in the Contracting process at a basic level. This 5 day course will equip the participants with the basic skills and tools to enable them to perform effectively within a commercial environment.  The course is also prepares the participants for the IACCM certificated examination Contract and Commercial Management. Topics include basics of contract law, risk identification, negotiation and financial management.

DPSS are part of the project team that are working with IACCM to develop the higher level courses that will give IACCM a comprehensive set of qualifications for all Contracting professionals . The Contract and Commercial Manager Practitioner course (CCMP), will be the intermediate level, designed for professionals with at least two years relevant experience.  The Contract and Commercial Manager expert course (CCME), will complete the hierarchy of qualifications and will be aimed at experienced professionals who perform a more strategic role.
